Sabrelayers

Designed with the pipeline contractor in mind, Sabre provides a complete line of hydraulically operated pipelayer attachments with lift capacities from 10,000 lbs. to 140,000 lbs. More rugged and value priced than existing competition, Sabre designs are job proven and fit a wide variety of tractors, wheel loaders, and loader backhoes, including: Caterpillar, Dresser, Case, Komatsu, John-Deere, Bron, and Fiat Allis. In addition, Sabre designs hydraulic pipelayer attachments designed specifically for the Cat Challenger Series tractor. This patented design combines the speed, mobility, and versatility of the Challenger Series tractor and has a lift capacity range of 30,000 lbs. to 40,000 lbs. The SL3CH and SL4CH attachments for the Challenger Series tractors are rental proven to be in good condition and ready to go to work. Various boom attachments also available. *Patent #5,392,936.

Sabre's Combo Unit - Combines the speed, mobility, and versatility of the Cat Challenger with Sabre's patented hydraulic pipelayer attachment and four to six welders. The Combo Unit plays a key role on mechanized welding spreads. With the pipelayer attachment, you can easily pick up the welding house and walk it down to the next joint. With more horsepower than a steel track machine of the same size, the Challenger Combo Unit has enough reserve power to run four to six welders and four to five grinders at the same time.
